About Your Hosts
CabCo Collective Hosts
Amanda and Caitlin are two friends that met through being active in the local community. They are active in local politics, supporters of nonprofits, and community advocates. CabCo Collective was started as a way to help inform people of the important issues and prominent figures that influence our day-to-day life in Cabarrus county.
I have been a Cabarrus resident for nearly 20 years. I have been involved in the community for almost 15 years, between being a paramedic, mother to kids in the Cabarrus school system, board member, and volunteer. I help run my family's commercial electrical business, an advocate for hemp wellness, as well as being a full-time mom to 5 kids.
I began my career in Washington, D.C. where I worked as a Legislative Policy Staffer for various Members of Congress, working for various Federal Agencies, Advocacy groups, and Business organizations. Since relocating to North Carolina, I have been active in local and state politics and community organizations and nonprofits.
